New Firefox extension Amazon.com turns into illegal free-for-all

New Firefox extension called Pirates of the Amazon lets users download movies, games, TV shows, and MP3 for free by cross-reference the Amazon product page with a torrent file from Pirate Bay.

If the content can be found on the Pirate Bay's search index that appear as a "4 Free Download" link at the top of the Amazon product page. This is a direct link to the host. Torrent tracker files, allowing users to avoid the purchase of the Amazon earnings in the place illegally through BitTorrent.

Extension developer site, along with a link to download the software currently offline. Extensions make front page Digg a few days ago, it seems that what the exit site (not legal intervention). I have contacted Amazon to see whether the company is trying to block the extension but has not heard back yet. Therefore, the extension still work, although without the "Free Download 4" thumbnail, which is hosted on the server developers.

As Torrentfreak blog notes, this is a really bad time for the extension. Piracy continues to be a big problem for movies, music albums, and games PC. Amazon MP3 online store is one of the most expensive place to buy legal DRM-free music, and this extension to manage the many who make it simpler for the hijacker. It also coincides with the time when online retailers years have increased traffic because of holiday sales.

He said, anyone who knows how to make the content may not need this to continue the habit.

The same also add-on is available for users of IMDB Userscripts.org cross-reference the film with the title torrent site to find a copy of movie-line. Although clearly leaning against piracy, I think that one of the more useful features is to track down the title of the file, which can provide a translation of the smaller countries where the content may be legally available but not translated.

Here is a demonstration of how the extension. Expect that the developer site, along with a link to download the backup later.

Perryman Software Releases Ps Report Scheduler for Automated Report Generation. New software helps businesses increase productivity by eliminating repetitive tasks associated with routine report generation from applications like Crystal Reports.

Deland, Florida (PRWEB) December 2, 2008 -- Perryman Software (www.perrymansoftware.com), a Sage Master Developer and Florida-based provider of human resource management, payroll, and accounting solutions, has announced the release of Ps Report Scheduler. Ps Report Scheduler allows you to define and schedule Crystal Reports, executables, and batch process tasks to be run monthly, weekly, daily, or on-demand.

Perryman Software developed Ps Report Scheduler for businesses that want to automate the routine administrative task of creating and distributing regularly scheduled reports. Report parameters are defined during scheduling and the report will automatically run at the designated time - pulling real-time information from just about any data source and application including Crystal Reports and SQL Server. The report scheduler can then be output to an electronic file, printer, or automatically emailed to multiple addresses simultaneously.

"We understand that today's competitive business environment requires companies to optimize resources while making timely, informed decisions," says Elizabeth Counts, Business Development Manager for Perryman Software. "The Ps Report Scheduler helps you accomplish that objective by eliminating repetitive tasks and scheduling routine reports for automatic generation and distribution. You can also run reports on-demand which ensures you have access to current and accurate information whenever you need it."

The Ps Report Scheduler also includes the Ps Library, a menu system based on group and individual privileges. Ps Library not only provides report generation for multiple independent applications from a centralized resource, it also allows authorized users to define, schedule and run reports on demand without a local copy of the application or Crystal Reports on their client system.

Perryman Software is offering a free trial of Ps Report Scheduler that can be downloaded from their website at www.perrymansoftware.com.
